Put yourself in the shoes of a poor African. If you were in their situation, dire poverty, not sure where your next meal was coming from and have no home, what would you do? The answer is probably the same. Nothing! What can you do? This is why volunteering is crucial in our world today. People who can afford to give the assistance to people who are less privileged. Without volunteering the world would be a lot more difficult to live. The experience you gain from helping the poor and needy is outstanding and something which should be treasured forever.
