Get Your Child A Giant Mountain Bike

October 27, 2009

The technology behind Giant mountain bikes make them one of the best brands in the world. World class competitions, training and leisure riding all make use of Giant bikes with the world leaders in the sport choosing Giant as their bike providers. However Giant design bikes for the most amateur of bikers as well as world class experts. Their range of kids bikes suit every level of ability.

There are two ranges of children’s bikes made by the brand. One range is designed for little children who have never ridden before. For children that have never ridden a bike before, there is a range for them. For kids with a bit more experience there is a range of Giant bikes designed for fun and transport.

First Bike
First time riders can choose from three bikes depending on how big/old they are. A tricycle in blue, pink, red or silver is designed for optimum safety and is called the L’il Giant. The training wheels help with balance and there is also a long pole that parents can hold onto to stop the bike from running away with your little one on it. The PUDD’N range are bikes for little girls with two models to choose from. There is a cute basket on the front, 16” wheels and removable training wheels on the original size bike. The junior version has smaller wheels at 12” and stabilisers. The last model in its first time rider range is Animator. Animator is like the PUDD’N range but in more boyish colours and no basket. There is a junior and original sized version available in the Animator range.

Sport Bikes
Once a child has gained more experience on their bike they can move onto the range for older children which consists of the MTX and taffy range. The MTX comes in 125 and 225 versions with the former riding on 20” wheels and having 6 speed gears. 24” wheels and 18 speed gears are used on the 225. Both models use a suspension fork and Alux aluminium technology frames. The Taffy is the female version of the MTX. Again there is a 225 and 125 version with 225 having bigger wheels and more gears than the 125.

Giant make some of the best bikes on the market and the quality that they put into every design is reflected in the quality of your performance. You will like your child using a bike because it keeps them fit and they will have so much fun on them.
