More and more indoor skydiving clubs have been springing up all over the US as more enthusiasts want to have that ultimate skydiving experience. Some companies such as Flyaway indoor skydiving have wind tunnels throughout the United States. Several of these tunnels are being used for training of military personnel and other professional skydivers. Flyaway is often times prefered because it is possible to to get more flight experience from the tunnels and it cost less money. This enables the skydiver to become more proficient at skydiving and as a result it will be safer and less accidents will occur.
Conditions
There are certain requirements that must be met if individuals want to participate at a Flyaway indoor skydiving tunnel. One is that individuals cannot weigh more than two hundred thirty pounds and cannot weight less than forty. The reason for this is that it is impossible for those outside of those limits to either achieve lift, or to achieve lift in a safe manner, being able to maneuver in the wind tunnel rather than being blown around in it.
To learn the basics of indoor skydiving and all the safety requirements, Flyaway will require all people to participate in a training class. In this training class the instructor will spot the person when they go on their first flight. The standard gear given to the students will be a helmet, flight suit, ear plugs, and goggles to ensure all safety measures are complied with. Other than that people should wear loose clothing that will enable them to manuver during flight. Also tennis shoes and socks are necessary for safety measures to enable safe landings.
Everyone participating in Flyaways training program will benefit. Experts and novices alike, since they will learn how to manuver in tight conditions, and will enhance the skills of all who are involved. People who are used to traditional free fall skydiving may experience some trouble in the tunnel at first since the space is so tight. This however will ultimately enable them to enhance thier skills and maneuvers in open space because they will be able to turn and dive more precisely in the open areas and reduce the chance for error and thus giving the enthusiast the ultimate exteme skydiving adventures.
